Green Week 2026

Our annual Green Week, organised in partnership with the Guild of Students, gives students and staff the opportunity to learn about sustainability, our approach and progress at the University of Birmingham.

All staff and students are invited to get involved with a wealth of different sustainability-related activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make connections and network, learn about sustainable practices or showcase your own work.

This year, Green Week is taking place Monday 16 – Sunday 22 March 2026. From nature walks to upcycling activities, sustainability-focused workshops, careers events and much more, there will be dozens of activities taking place this Green Week across the University and Guild of Students.
