    We’re proud to use sustainably and ethically sourced ingredients, ensuring only the highest standards though our supply chains. This includes 100% British meat and free-range eggs, Red Tractor-accredited milk, and MSC-certified seafood. Fairtrade products are available across campus, and we work with local suppliers to provide you with only the best fresh food and drink.

The Roots and Renewal Foundation

Founded by Dr Bob Tyler, The Roots and Renewal Foundation work with vulnerable youngsters to grow produce on a Birmingham allotment, helping to develop their skills. Many of our fresh vegetables come straight from the allotment.

200 Degrees

A Midlands-based roastery with two, much-loved coffee shops in Birmingham city centre, 200 Degrees prides itself on bringing its customers the smoothest, richest coffee around. All its green beans are ethically sourced, and many of its blends are made up of beans grown on Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. All coffee is hand-roasted for the perfect cup every time.

Kimiko

Kimiko is a sister of the family-run business Tanpopo, which brings authentic Japanese flavours to the UK. Every dish has been created by a Japanese head chef, meaning you’ll get a true taste of Japan every time. Embracing sustainability, Kimiko carefully sources its ingredients and removes its waste via biomass generators.

Eat Curious

Every Eat Curious product is made from sustainably sourced plant protein, infused with key ingredients grown at the team’s vertical farm in Northamptonshire. Powered by an onsite solar farm, Eat Curious is an AA-graded and BRC-accredited site. All its products are manufactured in the UK to reduce food miles.

Farmer Ted’s Shed

Nestled between Hockley Heath and Henley-in-Arden on the Umberslade Estate, Farmer Ted’s Shed is home to a marvellous herd of Montbeliardes cows. Here, milk is gently pasteurised, cows are well looked after, and they work with the Food Standards Agency to deliver the best quality farm-fresh produce.

Mahirs Experience

Award-winning and renowned in Birmingham, Mahirs specialises in authentic Punjabi and South Asian flavours. Founded in 2005, Mahirs Experience sources premium ingredients to create delicious traditional and contemporary dishes.

Wild Side Preserves forage hedgerows along the inland waterways of England and Wales. Supporting Canal & River Trust, the company, which is formed of husband-and-wife team Helen and Andy, experiment with flavours to create tasty homemade preserves.

An award-winning, handcrafted food producer, Piglet’s Pantry is a family-owned and run company. The team specialises in sausage rolls, pies, traybakes and cupcakes.
