Giving in memory

Making a gift in memory of a loved one is a lovely way to remember them and make a difference to a cause that was close to their heart.

Whether your loved one had a direct connection to the University of Birmingham or not, there are various different areas of our work that you may wish to support in their memory. This can be done in various different ways to suit you and your needs.

Ways to give

We have a Just Giving page, which is simple to set up and easy to share with family and friends:

  1. Visit this link and register your details to create a Just Giving account.
  2. Click the ‘Fundraise for us’ button in the top right-hand-corner. Setting up your page in this way means, once you have finished fundraising, all donations will transfer to us automatically.
  3. On the ‘What are you doing?’ page, Select ‘Remembering Someone’ and complete the page to set up your fundraising page.
  4. You can then share the link to the page with family and friends for them to make a donation.

We gratefully accept cheques to the following address:

The University of Birmingham
Development and Alumni Relations Office

Donations by bank transfer are also accepted, please get in touch for further information.
