Life-changing education: Bright Minds in Birmingham

We believe no one with academic potential should be held back by their financial or social circumstances.

A group of students graduating

Our Pathways to Birmingham programme breaks down practical and financial barriers faced by young people, including those who have been in care and those looking after a loved one. Help provide life-changing education through a programme of mentoring, scholarships and financial support, so students can achieve their ambitions of studying at Birmingham.

When I first thought about going to university, I was worried about how much my parents would be able to support me financially. The taster summer school I went to on campus gave me the confidence to apply and the scholarship helped pay for my living costs and the laptop I use every day.
