Electrical Engineering - Class of 1984

Back in June a group of 1984 Electrical Engineering alumni returned to campus for one of their regular reunions. After a tour of campus, the group was given a personal tour of the School of Engineering by the Head of School and were interested to see the new Engineering building, sharing comparisons about their own lecture rooms and learning spaces during their time at Birmingham. This was followed by a visit to UBRacing to have a look at the workshop, and an interesting chat with some of the students who were working on that year’s car.

The group then spent some time enjoying the Pop Comes to Campus exhibition in the Bramall Building, pointing out some of the gigs they had attended on campus, before heading to Selly Oak to enjoy the delights of the Dilshad. Plans are in place for their next reunion on campus in 2029!
