'After graduating I was not entirely sure what path I would take. I have worked across international education, partnerships, and nonprofit leadership, and I have found that building genuine relationships is the skill that carries through everything.
'I now serve as Founder and Executive Director of The Humane Choices Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit dedicated to animal welfare and humane education.
'Our team has grown to over 20 people across four countries, and it has been incredible to watch that growth turn into real impact. We now run awareness programming on university campuses across Canada, and we are about to launch our ambassador program in India, giving young people there a structured way to lead on animal welfare in their own communities.
'Building something from a feeling into a functioning organization has been the most meaningful work of my career.'
