Types of agreement

APL - Accreditation of Prior Learning, allowing advanced entry to specified programmes dependent on achieving an agreed level of academic attainment.

Entry Agreement - A bespoke arrangement allowing a defined entry route onto the first year of a specified programme, dependent on achieving an agreed level of academic attainment.

Collaborative delivery – A programme taught jointly by the University of Birmingham and another institution.

Dual degree - A collaborative programme leading to a separate award from each partner.

Joint degree - A collaborative programme leading to a single award made jointly by the partners.

Joint centre - A collaboration between partners to meet shared educational objectives.
