Join us for a very special 125 edition of Christmas on Campus!
This year, we’re not just celebrating the magic of the season, but also wrapping up the 125th anniversary of our university - a year full of achievements marking a monumental chapter in our history.
Alongside the usual festive fun, this year there’s something extra special: a first-of-its-kind lightshow telling stories of the University of Birmingham. From Joseph Chamberlain’s vision for England’s first civic university to our world-changing thinkers, dreamers and innovators, animated graphics projected on Aston Webb will bring to life our ambition to make the world a better place.
It promises to be a stunning experience - and you’re invited to be part of this historic moment!
There will be three opportunities to witness this spectacular finale, so be sure to be in Chancellor’s Court at the following times:
- 4.15pm
- 5.00pm
- 8.00pm
Please note this lightshow contains flashing imagery
Other festive fun activities include:
- Artisan Market
- Christmas Craft Fair
- Live music and entertainment
- Funfair carousel
- Fairground games, face-painting and crafting
- 'Claus for Thought' talks: fun takes on the festive season from our brilliant academics
- Largely in your hands: exhibition tours at Aston Webb
- Christmas films
- University Carol Service
- Christmas light switch-on
Staff, students, friends and local community all very welcome.
