B Film Queer Film Series: Semester 2
This semester we're continuing our 25-26 theme of 'Power', bringing thre films that explore these dynamics. At the same time, two of the films directly link to LGBT+ History Month, showcasing both historical fictional narratives with queer stories, and the history of key queer figures.
Monday February 2nd: The Favourite (Lanthimos, 2018)
Join us in The Carroll (Muirhead G15) at 5pm for a screening of The Favourite starring Olivia Colman and Emma Stone.
Monday February 16th: LGBT+ History Month Event
For this year's LGBT+ History Month, we'll be joined by Rico Johnson-Sinclair (founder of CineQ) who will introduce The Life and Death of Marsha P. Johnson
Join us in The Carroll (Muirhead G15), starting at 5pm.
Wednesday, March 11th: Call Me By Your Name
Our final film for the year is Luca Guadagino's Call Me By Your Name.
We record a podcast alongside a guest after each screening.
