BEASTdome | Annette Vande Gorne

Experience an immersive evening of electroacoustic music with pioneering composer Annette Vande Gorne.

Annette Vande Gorne is a pioneering figure in acousmatic and electroacoustic music. She trained in Paris with Pierre Schaeffer and Guy Reibel, becoming one of the leading voices in a field that reimagines sound, space, and listening itself. Founder of the Musiques & Recherches centre and the internationally renowned L’Espace du Son festival, she has been instrumental in shaping both the practice and dissemination of acousmatic art.

Her work explores the physical and energetic qualities of sound, often drawing inspiration from nature, while placing particular emphasis on spatial composition as a central musical parameter. Widely performed at festivals and broadcast on radio, her music invites audiences into a focused and immersive listening experience.

As part of her 80th birthday celebrations, we are delighted to host her for a concert and a special diffusion workshop.
