BIFoR Annual Meeting 2026: The Remembering Forest

The BIFoR Annual Meeting 2026: The Remembering Forest will take place on 22–23 July 2026 at the University of Birmingham, marking ten years of CO₂ enrichment research at the BIFoR FACE facility.

The free event will bring together international researchers, policymakers and practitioners to explore how forests “remember” environmental change through biological, ecological and human interactions.

The programme includes an international half‑day session held in memoriam of Professor Steve Long FRS, recognising his lasting contribution to global forest science. The meeting is open to external audiences and will be held in person on the Edgbaston campus.
