The University of Birmingham and the Guild of Students are marching together for Birmingham Pride Parade 2026. Join us in celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, unity, and equality starting at The Exchange Birmingham, on Saturday 23 May.
Participants are asked to arrive at between 10.30am and 11.00am. Please not arrive any later than 11.15am, as we will be preparing to join the Pride parade.
UNIfied at Pride
The University coordinates the UNIfied at Pride in partnership with neighbouring universities. This year, we will be joined by Arden University, Aston University, Birmingham City University, Birmingham Newman University, University College Birmingham, University of Law, and University of Wolverhampton to create a united wave of support for our students, staff, family and friends, and wider community.
UNIfied at Pride demonstrates our shared commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusivity across Higher Education.
Parade participants will have access to The Exchange, which offers free water, an on-site café, gender-neutral and accessible facilities, changing spaces for outfit changes, and a quiet room for anyone who needs a breather.
Find us at our UoB stall at Smithfield Live
If you are joining the festivities at the Smithfield Live space (ticketed area) on Saturday (23 May) afternoon, why not pop by the University of Birmingham's stall to say hello to our student and staff volunteers, or take a short break on our deck chairs.
