For our final Birmingham Popular Maths Lecture we are joined by Professor Ryan Martin, a visiting Fulbright Scholar and Professor of Mathematics from Iowa State University. Professor Ryan Martin's lecture will be on 'The Small World Problem: Six Degrees of Graph Theory '
The Birmingham Popular Mathematics Lectures (BPML) are designed to showcase mathematics and the ways in which it can be used. The lectures are open to all members of the public and the University who are interested in the study of Mathematics. They are particularly suitable for those studying Mathematics at A Level but we also welcome advanced GCSE students.
The Birmingham Popular Maths Lectures will be held Lecture Theatre A in the Watson Building (R15 on our campus map). The lecture will run from 18:30-19:30, with doors opening from 18:15.
This lecture will be delivered both in person and online. Please select your attendance type as part of the registration form.
