Join us online to discover how neurodiversity is reshaping the future of work, education, and leadership.

  • Learn how neurodiversity transforms workplace culture, boosts resilience, and empowers inclusive leadership.
  • Explore how widening access to education and the workforce helps address social inequalities.
  • Understand the vital role of supports, friends, family and employers, in empowering neurodivergent people.
  • Hear how Birmingham researchers are informing national policy at government level.

Neurodiverse teams are about 30% more productive when they have the right support but 50% of neurodivergent staff are considering leaving their employer due to lack of support.

Meet our panel:

  • Professor Karen Guldberg, Head of the School of Education and Professor in Autism Studies. Her research focuses on inclusive practice in education and provision, with a special emphasis on autism studies.
  • Professor Laura Crane, Director of the Autism Centre for Education and Research (ACER). A leading authority on participatory autism research. Her work makes a genuine and meaningful difference to autistic people and those who support them.
  • Iveta Pudilova (BA Political Science, 2022), founder of National Neurodiversity Training. From growing up non-verbal to discovering her own neurodivergence late in life, Iveta launched National Neurodiversity Training to deliver lived-experienced and tailored programmes to employers, including global tech firms, universities, and local government.
