We are pleased to welcome visiting academic Dr Huw Macartney, Associate Professor in Political Economy for this special evening. Dr Macartney will speak about his new book on the House of Lords, exploring the financial and political activity of its members and how elite power continues to shape British government.
As always, no prior knowledge of the topic is required. The evening will provide an opportunity to ask questions of Dr Macartney, as well as connect with your fellow alumni community.
