An evening of art song and lieder gets no finer than an evening with these doyens of the song world. Acclaimed pianist and Leeds Song artistic director Joseph Middleton is an alumnus of the University of Birmingham and is one of the leading collaborative pianists of his generation. Joseph is joined by one of his many duo partners, the inimitable Dame Sarah Connolly. A star on the opera stage and the concert platform, mezzo-soprano Dame Sarah was awarded The King’s Medal for Music in 2023 and continues to captivate audiences across the globe.
