We are delighted to be partnering with Education in Action to host a series of subject-focused academic events on campus during 2026/27 for GCSE, A level, IB and BTEC students.
Join a dynamic and thought-provoking day that brings economics to life through interactive discussions, real-world case studies and expert-led sessions. Students will explore the forces shaping economies, from microeconomics and behavioural economics to global markets and public policy. The day also includes opportunities to engage with speakers through polls, quizzes and Q&A sessions, alongside dedicated exam support.
This event is designed for A-level, IB, BTEC Level 3 and T Level Economics students who want to deepen their understanding of economic theory, explore current economic issues and gain insight into university study and careers in economics, business, finance and public policy
Economics helps us understand how individuals, businesses and governments make decisions about scarce resources. It develops analytical, quantitative and evaluative skills that are highly valued by universities and employers. Studying economics opens pathways into careers in finance, banking, business, government, consultancy, policy-making and data analysis, while providing valuable insight into the economic issues that shape society and the global economy.
