Professor Beng Huat See
Professor of Education Research
The Department of Teacher Education
A key focus of Professor Beng Huat See's research is the supply, development, well-being and retention of teachers.

The conference aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and professional growth among educators across Europe through an accessible and inclusive virtual conference in which teachers will share the findings from research they have undertaken.
Each year hundreds of teachers across the EUniWell alliance complete research dissertations which look to answer important questions about learning and teaching in schools. This conference provides an opportunity for these partner institutions to disseminate this research via an online international conference. The conference forms two parts: a) an online gallery of academic posters and b) a morning of online presentations.
This knowledge exchange will share some of the challenges that are emerging internationally in different classrooms and how research can respond to it. This opportunity for teachers to share their research internationally provides a pioneering space for cross fertilisation of solutions and thinking that can help teachers respond to the contemporary challenges of schooling today. Through this knowledge exchange it is hoped that this will not only support teachers in their own professional development, but it will help to share ways of thinking that can help to sustain their well-being and promote a career in the classroom.
The day will involve a key note from Professor Beng Huat See, followed by teacher-researchers sharing their findings from research they have undertaken at masters level.
The outline for the half-day conference is:
