Recognised as one of Europe's finest young string quartets, the Fibonacci Quartet originally formed at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have gone on to give critically acclaimed performances and win numerous prizes. They were presented with the quadrennial Merito String Quartet Award at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, as well as being selected as Borletti-Buitoni Trust Artists in 2026. This programme features their own arrangements of Moravian folksongs as a prologue to Janácek’s ‘Intimate Letters’.
