The Exchange presents a special BSL-friendly tour around our 2026 installation and exhibition.

Guide Olivier Jamin leads a BSL tour taking in Luke Jerram’s Helios sculpture and solar research at the University of Birmingham.

Designed for D/deaf BSL users and anyone who prefers to use British Sign Language.  This tour will be delivered in BSL. There will be English voice-over translation for hearing visitors and The Exchange can also provide Hearing Loops for those who need them. The tour is fully step-free, and seating is available throughout.

Facilities and accessibility

We’re committed to making The Exchange as welcoming and accessible as possible. There’s step-free access and accessible toilets on all floors, plus a Changing Places toilet on the basement level.
