The University Chorus welcome conductor Jack Apperley for his debut concert with the choir, alongside organist Jim Bate and Stien de Neef on harp. In a programme centred around Fauré Requiem, we hear music from a selection of French composers, including Panis Angelicus, César Franck’s popular setting of the penultimate verse of St. Thomas Aquinas’s hymn Sacris Solemniis.
