London young alumni event - Ambition and Balance: Building a Career without Losing Yourself.

Starting your career in London can be exciting, rewarding and full of opportunity but it can also feel overwhelming. You may be navigating a new city at the same time as building professional networks, managing expectations and defining what success means to you.

Join fellow University of Birmingham graduates for an inspiring evening of conversation, connection and reflection with alumni who have successfully built careers in the corporate world while staying grounded, resilient and building their own distinguished personal brand.

Hear from alumni speakers including Shenaid Tapper, Senior Manager - Transformation & Technology Delivery at Deloitte, who will share the lessons they wish they'd known, including how to establish yourself professionally, make the most of opportunities, build meaningful relationships, develop confidence and resilience, and avoid getting caught up in the pressures of the "London grind".

Whether you're just starting your first role, navigating your next career move, or simply looking for fresh perspectives from those who have been in your shoes, this event offers a valuable opportunity to learn from alumni who understand both the ambition and the realities of building a career in the capital. You'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow recent graduates, expand your network and become part of the growing Birmingham alumni community in London.

Join us at Uncommon Liverpool Street, located in the heart of London’s dynamic professional scene. This is your chance to learn from someone who’s been where you are and is now thriving in one of the world’s leading professional landscapes.

We look forward to seeing you there!
