An escape room game adventure

University of Birmingham
Wednesday 21 February 2024 (13:00-15:00)

Collaborate with other students to solve riddles and puzzles in order to break out of online escape rooms. The session builds on vital skills such as communication, problem-solving and teamworking skills by promoting the opportunity to work collectively towards a common goal.

The latter part of the session will feature an exploration of escape rooms, showcasing the application of an in-person escape room game in the "Introduction to Mathematics for Economics" module. This masterclass will examine the ways in which mathematical studies and economics can be applied to situations outside of classrooms.

This event is open to all Years 10 and 11 students; you don't need any specific experience to be able to attend. Explore the rest of our masterclasses for more fun learning opportunities.
