Recent studies by the Center for Social Development (CSD) at Washington University in St. Louis (U.S.A.) and the Centre on Household Assets and Savings Management (CHASM) at the University of Birmingham (U.K.) have revealed the economic challenges facing low-wage workers and the ways they navigate those obstacles.
