Meet real solar scientists and students from the University of Birmingham’s School of Physics and Astronomy and School of Engineering.

Take part in interactive activities that show how studying solar activity, space weather, and distant worlds links to everyday life - from weather forecasts to satellites - and discover the science that makes it all possible.

Facilities and accessibility

We’re committed to making The Exchange as welcoming and accessible as possible. There’s step-free access and accessible toilets on all floors, plus a Changing Places toilet on the basement level.
