Following the success of last year’s event, the Vegan Market is back with an exciting mix of independent traders offering mouth‑watering plant‑based food, sweet treats, handmade gifts, and eco‑friendly products.

Explore Winterbourne’s beautiful botanic garden in full spring bloom as you browse and sample from a fantastic line‑up of vegan street‑food vendors and sustainable makers. Shop locally and sustainably in our oasis of calm just outside of Birmingham city centre.

Winterbourne members and University of Birmingham staff and students receive free entry when presenting a valid ID card on entry.

What to expect

• Free parking is available on site. Additional parking is available a short walk away at the North East Multi-storey (Pritchatts Road, B15 2SA), at a flat fee of £3.
• Travel sustainably! Winterbourne is easily accessible via local public transport, including the X20, X21 and X22 bus from Birmingham city centre, which drops you off a short walk from Winterbourne.
• Winterbourne allows access for assistance dogs only.
• Winterbourne members, University of Birmingham staff and students: just show your membership or ID card on arrival for free entry!
• Winterbourne House and Garden accepts card-payments only for admission, in the tea room, and in the giftshop. Each stall will have a different policy regarding payments, so we recommend bringing cash and card with you on the day.
• Food and drink: enjoy a delicious selection of homemade sandwiches, jacket potatoes, seasonal platters and one of the nicest afternoon teas in Birmingham from the Terrace Tea Room.
