Crosscurrents
Members of the public are encouraged to join leading percussionist Colin Currie for an inclusive workshop focusing on Steve Reich’s minimalist masterpiece for hands, Clapping Music. Originally written for two performers, we take on the challenge of a mass performance to explore the genre-leading work.
As we celebrate Reich’s 90th Birthday, we invite you to join us for this mass workshop, to learn the piece and then perform in the Barber Evening Concert the following evening.
To take part, please register before midday on Friday 13th March.
