What to expect

Over three days, you'll take part in live Arts and Humanities sessions led by the University of Birmingham, exploring big ideas, developing your subject knowledge, and working towards an independent project. You'll also attend university skills sessions designed to help you think at degree level and prepare for future applications.

Who is this for

Unifrog account holders- Year 11 and 12 students who enjoy exploring ideas, culture, society, history, philosophy, literature, politics, media, or related humanities subjects. It's ideal for anyone considering an Arts and Humanities degree or wanting to experience university-style learning. No prior experience is required.

During this session, you will

  • Attend three interconnected Arts and Humanities sessions across the week.
  • Explore a subject through a university-style academic lens.
  • Complete an independent project linked to the programme theme.
  • Develop key academic skills, including critical thinking, research, note-taking, and building strong arguments.
  • Learn how to explore a subject beyond the classroom and strengthen future university applications.
