Our first Summer School at The Exchange invites children to spend the day with us exploring science, art, and the natural world.

Start with a session on leaves, plants, and trees with Professor Jeremy Pritchard from the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research, then enjoy nature-inspired art with the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, games and challenges with artist Sarah Hamilton-Baker, and a chance to peek through solar telescopes with University of Birmingham astrophysicists.

This event will go on sale on Monday, 1 June 2026.

Tickets are £30 per child.

For children aged 8–11 years only. Please bring a packed lunch.
