Award Description

The Trust was established under the Will of John Clingan, late of Christchurch, who died in or about the year 1716. 

Grants are awarded towards expenses relating to education and/or training for a career, and also for music, the arts and social and physical training.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be under 25 with the family home and in education at some time in the Trust area, which is broadly speaking Christchurch, Highcliffe, parts of Bournemouth to the East of the town centre and other outlying areas to the North and East of Christchurch.
