Award Description

Thanks to the generosity of the TI Group the University of Birmingham is pleased to provide four high-calibre students, who may otherwise struggle financially, with a cash award of £5,000 to pursue a one-year taught Masters programme in engineering for entry in September 2025.

Value of Award

For September 2025 entry the TI Group PG Scholarship offers four one-year scholarships valued at £5,000. The award is paid in two cash installments of £2,500: one installment in October 2025 and one in May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must have received an offer to study one a one-year MSc engineering programme of their choice.

Selection of successful candidates will be based initially upon financial needs and then upon academic achievement.

Applications should be submitted online using the TI Group PG Scholarship application form. Applications close on 13 July 2025 at 23:59.

Please ensure you complete all sections of the form and remember to provide detailed information on your financial situation as financial need is the main criteria of consideration for this award.

You will need to provide a PDF of your undergraduate transcript and a PDF/Word Document from your academic reference as part of the application so please have these documents ready when completing the application form.

It is important to remember that the availability of awards is limited and as such not all applications will be successful. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the end of August 2025.
