Essential administration for new students 

Accommodation

Living is the University's accommodation service, providing access to a range of University-owned and partner accommodation, as well as support and advice for students living in private accommodation in the local area through the Community Living Hub. You can speak to the team at the Living shop in University Centre (R23, Edgbaston campus) or at the Community Living Hub at Bournbrook Pavillion (Y18, Edgbaston campus).

Student groups and societies

Whether you have just arrived on campus or have been here for years, it is never too late to join a student group to make friends, develop new skills and discover your passions.

The Guild of Students is home to over 300 student groups, so whether you’re interested in singing, sports, politics or food - you’re sure to find the perfect group for you.

Travel and transport

The University is has good local transport connections, including its own train station. Find out about local buses (including the Selly Express and Selly Shuttle), trains, and walking and cycling in the area.
