More than 150 teachers and careers professionals from across the country will visit the University of Birmingham on 4 July for the third annual Careers and Admissions Conference.

Delegates who are involved in advising students about higher education choices, including 6th form heads of schools and colleges and careers advisers, will find out the latest information about admissions to higher education and the courses available at the university. 

Keynote speakers include Tony Charlton, UCAS Professional Development Officer, while admissions tutors will also talk about what they look for in applicants and what their graduates do. In addition, the event will feature a number of workshops covering areas such as graduate employment; studying science degree subjects; and tips on how to complete UCAS application forms.

Representatives from student recruitment, the international office, University Sport Birmingham, disability/learning support services and Continuing Professional Development will also be on hand to answer questions. Campus tours will also be available.
