Celebrate Valentine’s Day in style at Winterbourne House and Garden with two new events set in a haven of peace and tranquility.
This unique heritage attraction will be opening its Terrace tea room for a romantic candle-lit dinner on Monday 14 February from 7pm for those who want to celebrate with a special loved one in a romantic setting.
A table d'hôte menu, specifically selected for the special occasion, will be served including a glass of bubbly on arrival. Diners will be treated to an exclusive look around the Winterbourne exhibition rooms before they are seated and enjoy a 3-course meal.
The second event is for those who prefer their romance on the big screen as the Winterbourne film season begins on Saturday 12 February with the Audrey Hepburn classic, Breakfast at Tiffany’s showing in a matinee at 3pm.
These Valentine’s inspired events kick-start a year of evening supper clubs with table service and delicious food, alongside a programme of classic films showing in the Nicolson Building.
Winterbourne’s Events Programme Head, Alison Darby said:
“So many people attend our events and enjoy the gardens all year-round, but we also want to show off the tea room and other facilities for guests to enjoy.
“Having a large room and big screen – perfect for watching films in – brings the cinema closer to our local student population and also gives our visitors something new to try here at Winterbourne.”
Bookings are on a first come, first served basis for the romantic tea room meal; please book early by phoning 0121 414 3832 to avoid disappointment. The 3-course menu is £25 per head and vegetarian options are available.

Tickets are priced £3.50 for adults and £3.00 for concessions and snacks and light refreshments will be available from 2pm, but you may want to bring your own tissues as this film will make you cry!
