Professor Tadeusz Szubka of Szczecin University in Poland is visiting the Department from November 4th – December 1st, (a visit made possible by funding the Department has obtained from the Royal Institute of Philosophy). Tadeusz works in metaphysics, philosophy of language, philosophy of science, history of philosophy, and other areas. During his time in Birmingham Tadeusz will give an RIP public lecture on November 15th and a Philosophy Society seminar on November 21st. He’s be based in Alex Miller's office (ERI 145) and and is happy to diuscuss philosophy with postgraduate students and members of staff.
