The National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs) today announced the award of funding for a research fellow to develop "eGUT: a Tool for Predictive Computer Simulation of the Gut Microbiota and Host Interactions". The research will be carried out by a team led by Dr Jan Kreft at the Centre for Systems Biology.
