The Leverhulme Trust has awarded the University of Birmingham a £125,634 Research Project Grant to examine Cortical hyperexcitability and the out-of-body experience (OBE).

Dr Jason Braithwaite has been awarded a £125,634 Research Project Grant by The Leverhulme Trust to examine Cortical hyperexcitability and the out-of-body experience (OBE). The three-year project will seek to examine brain processes that underlie predisposition to anomalous bodily experiences in the non-clinical population via a host of modern neuroscientific techniques.
