Mechanical Engineering Professor helps to bring IEEE conference to Birmingham

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Nanotechnology Conference 2012 will be held at the ICC thanks to a successful bid put together by Professor Kyle Jiang (School of Mechanical Engineering Research Co-ordinator) and Catherine Newhall-Caiger (ICC Business Development Director).

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Nanotechnology Conference 2012 will be held at the ICC thanks to a successful bid put together by Professor Kyle Jiang (School of Mechanical Engineering Research Co-ordinator and Professor of Nanotechnology) and Catherine Newhall-Caiger (ICC Business Development Director).

IEEE NANO 2012 will bring together 500 leading scientists and engineers from around the world, facilitating elite research collaboration whilst helping to promote Birmingham as a first choice city for scientific development. Professor Jiang will also chair the conference, due to be held on 20-23 August.
