Noisefloor Festival
Birmingham Ensemble for Electroacoustic Research to perform two works as part of this year's Noisefloor Festival at Staffordshire University.
The Music Department's live electroacoustic ensemble, BEER (Birmingham Ensemble for Electroacoustic Research), will perform two works as part of this year's Noisefloor Festival at Staffordshire University. They'll give the premiere of Pea Stew, a work involving feedback of audio streams shared over a wifi network (based on an earlier piece by Dan Stowell), and play an earlier work, Telepathic. Both of which make use of live coding (real time programming of computer music systems) and network music techniques.
