Professor Deb becomes panel member of NIHR West Midlands Research for Patient Benefit

Professor Shoumitro Deb (School of Psychology, University of Birmingham) has been appointed as a panel member for the West Midlands Research for Patient Benefit advisory committee.

Professor Shoumitro Deb has been appointed as a panel member for the West Midlands Research for Patient Benefit advisory committee.

The Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) programme was established in 2006 as part of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). It operates regionally to conduct research projects within the areas of health and social care, and aims to identify potential areas of improvement in the delivery of NHS services across England.

The West Midlands committee is chaired by Richard Lilford, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology - also from the University of Birmingham.
