Hosted by by the Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage and National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in association with the UNESCO UNITWIN Network – Tourism, Culture, Development (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), the conference seeks to explore the complex and challenging relationships which exist between the many forms and formats of tangible and intangible heritage and tourism/tourists. The conference is international and wishes to encourage those researchers and professionals working at the interface between heritage and tourism from all nations and cultures to reflect upon these relationships. The conference is also a forum for the coming together of different disciplines and methodologies and we welcome a friendly and creative exchange of diverse ideas and approaches; all focused upon the core themes of the conference.
