The second round of the Birmingham Fellowship scheme is now open for applications.

The University of Birmingham is now seeking to recruit for the second round of the Birmingham Fellowships. These permanent posts have been set up to allow outstanding, high potential, early career researchers of any age to establish themselves as rounded academics who will go on to make a full and excellent contribution to research, teaching and academic citizenship. The first round in 2011 led to 30 appointments and there will be 25 more in 2012.

The deadline for applying is 27 August 2012.
