Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite (Honorary Professor at HSMC), together with other Australian colleagues, is one of the authors of The Care Track Study, Care Track: assessing the appropriateness of health care delivery in Australia, which was published on 17 July in the Medical Journal of Australia.
The editor of the MJA, Dr Annette Katelaris, has described it as the most important study published in the MJA in the last 10 years. The study has attracted significant media coverage and there is a podcast on the MJA website which provides a quick overview of the article.
