CRRE is one of several Birmingham-based equity organizations who supported an event on 2nd October 2013 featuring Dr Richard Stone, panel member of the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry (1997-99).

Discussion included:

• Current concerns about racism in Birmingham, especially of younger people who were too young to know about the Lawrence inquiry.
• Report on progress which has or has not been made
• Identify how we can work together to make the necessary change
