The talk included fun interactive demonstrations showing how synchrony, while an apparently simple task to achieve, is in fact a complex interaction of sensory processing and movement coordination controlled within the brain. In addition, they described how synchrony can influence our perceptions of people and the enjoyment of a task. The event took place in Russell Square, and was part of the Ministry of Movement event organised by the Wellcome Trust.
