Promoting the Zibaldone in English
Professor Michael Caesar and Dr Franco D'Intino will take part to a series of events in the US to promote the recent publication of Leopardi's Zibaldone in English.
Professor Michael Caesar and Dr Franco D'Intino will take part to a series of events in the US to promote the recent publication of Leopardi's Zibaldone in English.
They will attend these events:
- 23-24 September: "Leopardi Today". An international conference to mark the publication of the English 'Zibaldone': Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut.
- 25 September: "Giacomo Leopardi's Zibaldone". An event celebrating the first translation into English of Leopardi's Zibaldone:The Italian Academy, Columbia University, New York.
- 26 September: "Antiquity after Modernity. Leopardi in English". An international seminar to present the English translation of Leopardi's Zibaldone: University of Pennsylvania.
