The School of Education is delighted to announce it is now 46th in the new QS World University Rankings. This is a remarkable achievement both within the College of Social Sciences and the University as a whole for the subject of Education. It is another sign of its continued improvement as a School of Education and follows the recent news that the University of Birmingham has made an impressive 15 place rise to 62nd in the same rankings.
The University of Birmingham has made an impressive 15 place rise to 62nd in this year’s QS World University Rankings, cementing its position in the top 100 universities globally and placing it 10th in the UK.
Today’s ranking further builds on the University’s recent strong league table performances in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2013, The Guardian University Guide 2014 and The Complete University Guide for 2014.

The QS annual ranking, which evaluates 800 institutions worldwide, is based on six key factors: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, student faculty ratio, international student ratio and international faculty ratio.
