Dr Nicola Rollock visited the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA in September to meet and work with faculty and graduate students interested in issues of race and social justice in education.  Her weeklong programme included giving a University-wide Address based on her forthcoming co-authored book The Colour of Class: the educational strategies of the Black middle classes and leading on Professor Michael Apple’s Friday Afternoon Seminar.  She was also guest of honour at an invite-only women faculty of colour breakfast meeting sponsored by Wisconsin’s Equity and Inclusion Laboratory (WeiLab).
