Dr Nicola Rollock wins a place on BBC Expert Voices BAME Talent Day

Dr Nicola Rollock was one of four University of Birmingham minority ethnic academics to be offered a place on the BBC Expert Voices BAME Talent Days

Dr Nicola Rollock was one of four University of Birmingham minority ethnic academics to win a place on the BBC Expert Voices BAME Talent Days.  The talent days offer an introduction to broadcasting for black, Asian and minority (BAME) men and women which will help increase the diversity of experts in the media.

Nicola was part of a group of 24 candidates selected from a pool of over 100 submissions.  The Talent Day, on 27th November 2014, included delivering a piece of work to the camera, a radio presentation, a television studio session and a discussion panel with industry propfessionals entitled 'The Business of the Business Panel'. There were also networking opportunities with producers and industry leaders.
