Robots, molecules have no morals and more
- Dr Zoe Schnepp was featured in a Guardian article about “soapbox science” (27.6.14)
- Dr Nick Hawes was interviewed for an article in The Guardian concerning the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and advances in robotics. He was also quoted in The Observer discussing artificial intelligence developments (22.6.14)
- Dr Somak Raychaudhury discussed the astronomical factors which play a part in the summer solstice in Yahoo! Canada, The Huffington Post Canada, and CBC News Canada (20.6.14)
- Dr Nick Hawes was interviewed on BBC Breakfast about trials of a Birmingham robotics project with security company, G4S, which uses Bob STRANDS as a security guard. It also featured on the BBC News website, The Daily Mail, Metro, The Daily Star, The Daily Mirror, BBC Radio 5, CBBC Newsround, the Birmingham Mail, The Times, BBC Radio Gloucestershire, BBC Radio Newcastle (16.6.14), the Birmingham Post and the Telegraph (19.6.14). Dr Nick Hawes was also interviewed discussing Bob and the use of robots in human environments.

- Dr Paul Norman discussed undergraduate courses and potential career paths in nuclear physics for an article in The Daily Telegraph (14.6.14)
- Professor Aaron Sloman was quoted in The Guardian on his role as a judge in the Royal Society’s Turing Test – a computer program “chat bot” that could convince humans it was a real person (9.6.14)
